The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Project Leader delivers projects that drive strategic improvements across ESC, ensures efficient execution through collaboration and innovative ways of working and leads projects end-to-end while engaging stakeholders to achieve results.

You would be expected to:

• Deliver projects end‑to‑end with clear scope and effective control across time, cost, and quality within defined guardrails.

• Engage stakeholders to support delivery through clear communication and alignment.

• Ensure governance and control by managing risks, maintaining documentation, and escalating key issues with mitigation actions.

• Align project outcomes to business goals, track benefits, and support sustainable adoption.

• Foster strong team collaboration, apply suitable methodologies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field with minimum 5+ years of project management experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning logistics, engineering, manufacturing operations, network with 3+ years in a leadership role

• Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and Agile delivery (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) are required.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with AI, digital transformation, or emerging technologies in project delivery

• Proven ability to lead end-to-end projects across Agile and Waterfall environments and manage risks

• Strong problem-solving skills to analyse processes and drive improvements

• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders
