About the role

This role will lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations across Reckitt's marketing and media portfolio. The role partners closely with Marketing, Media, E-commerce, Digital, Consumer Insights, Creative, and Finance teams to deliver value through cost optimization, innovation, risk management, and supplier performance excellence.

Your responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
•    Develop and execute category strategies for: 
o    Media Buying (Digital, TV, Print, OOH)
o    Creative & Production Agencies
o    Influencer Marketing
o    Content Creation & Social Media
o    Market Research & Consumer Insights
o    E-commerce Media
o    Events & Activations
o    MarTech and Marketing Technology Platforms
•    Drive competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, and spend optimization initiatives.
•    Build category roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives.

Commercial Excellence
•    Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations with agencies, publishers, research partners, and production houses.
•    Establish rate cards, pricing benchmarks, and commercial governance frameworks.
•    Deliver annual savings, cost avoidance, and value creation targets.
•    Ensure transparency across media rates, production costs, agency fees, rebates, and commissions.

Stakeholder Management
•    Partner with Marketing Directors, Brand Teams, Media Teams, E-commerce, and Finance.
•    Act as a trusted business advisor balancing commercial rigor with speed-to-market requirements.
•    Challenge specifications and scope where required while ensuring business outcomes are maintained.

Supplier Relationship Management
•    Manage strategic relationships with key partners including media agencies, creative agencies, production houses, influencers, and research firms.
•    Conduct regular supplier performance reviews covering: 
o    Commercial competitiveness
o    Service delivery
o    Innovation
o    Compliance
o    Sustainability
•    Develop supplier scorecards and improvement plans.

Governance & Compliance
•    Ensure procurement policies, contracting standards, and approval processes are adhered to.
•    Identify and mitigate operational, commercial, and reputational risks.
•    Maintain contract repository and category documentation.

The experience we're looking for

•    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
•    MBA preferred.
•    7-12 years of procurement, sourcing, or commercial experience.
•    Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, media, or advertising ecosystem preferred.
•    Strong understanding of media, digital marketing, production, and agency commercial models.
