Job Title: Developer - Platform/ProductDesignation: Process Lead

Location: Hyderabad_Phoenix

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, playing a critical role in the development and maintenance of our platform and product solutions. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze complex requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust platform and product solutions with a focus on Mainframe IMS database management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement best practices for database administration, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security management.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of database solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding database-related queries.
• Document database architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Mainframe technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.
• Proficiency in database design, implementation, and administration.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of IMS databases.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for Mainframe databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other database management systems (DBMS) in addition to IMS.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as COBOL, Java, or C.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience in cloud-based database solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in database administration or Mainframe technologies will be an advantage.
