Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models support organizational goals and facilitate efficient data management and utilization across projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and refinement of data models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to align data strategies.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of data modeling principles.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data architecture and modeling processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Experience with database design and data warehousing principles.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective models.
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
