Job Overview

Lead the enterprise security strategy to protect employees, contractors, visitors, facilities, assets, materials, information, critical infrastructure and business operations across manufacturing locations, offices, Utility & plant expansion areas through a proactive, risk-based and technology-enabled security framework.

 

Are you the One?

Experience: Min 10 exp in forces & 6 - 10 years with Industrial background experience handling 500+ Headcounts

Education:  Ex. Serviceman – Any Forces (Mandatory)
Commissioned Officer experience — Major/Colonel or equivalent with any bachelor’s degree.

NCC 'B' or 'C' certificate / PG Diploma in crisis / risk / CPP - Certified Protection Professional (ASIS) / PSP - Physical Security Professional (ASIS) will add advantage.

 

What will you be doing?

• Develop security strategy, policies, standards, SOPs and governance across all locations.

• Conduct security risk, threat and vulnerability assessments; maintain risk register and mitigation plans.

• Ensure perimeter, gate, access-control, visitor, CCTV, restricted-area and critical-asset protection.

• Manage personnel/contractor security, background verification, ID/access privileges and exit controls.

• Strengthen raw-material, finished-goods, scrap, vehicle, gate-pass and asset-movement controls.

• Lead security operations, guard-force deployment, training, discipline and outsourced-agency performance.

• Oversee & guide the design, implementation, and management of physical security measures for facilities, personnel & assets. Collaborate with external vendors & internal personnel to enhance on-site security.

• Drive security technology roadmap: CCTV/video analytics, access control, VMS, Booms, RFID, alarms and SOC/IBMS control room.

• Lead/coordinate investigations into theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, sabotage, fraud and security incidents.

• Develop & maintain an effective response plan to address security incidents promptly. Coordinate with relevant agencies during crisis, recovery & continuity measures after crisis.

• Own security response for crises, threats, industrial unrest and major incidents; coordinate with EHS/Operations.

• Coordinate physical security of critical infrastructure and equipment.

• Drive digitalization, modernization in the security operations

• Manage security audits, compliance, corrective actions, budgets, CAPEX and continuous improvement.

• Maintain effective liaison with police, fire services, local administration and other authorized external agencies.

• Initiate investigations and security audits; recommend/implement approved corrective actions.

• Restrict or recommend suspension of access where legitimate security risk exists, within policy and law

• Direct security-vendor compliance with SLAs; recommend manpower/deployment changes and security CAPEX.

• Escalate critical security risks directly to senior management and activate approved security response protocols.

• Driving & coordination of Independence & republic day events.

• Handling Company car trips, headcount details, Man, Machine, Material data’s.

• Managing the gate pass system, work permits, patrolling procedures.
