Summary of the role:

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a detail‑oriented Analyst, Retail Accounting, to support retail accounting operations across the Americas, including retail accounting support, reconciliations, and variance resolution for stores in partnership with Retail Operations and other teams. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and can drive close accuracy, on‑time reporting, and audit readiness.

About the role:

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support new store opening setup and renewal of business licenses
• Perform quality checks on retail cash variances (POS, deposits, bank matching) and retail accounting reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and close variances in partnership with upstream teams
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization

 

About you:

• Qualified Accountant/ CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and RTR processes
• Experience with SAP / S/4HANA or large ERP systems preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI and Copilot
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a deadline‑driven, team‑oriented environment
• Flexible working in global time zone
