Position: Senior Java Backend Developer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 5+Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Batch to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and batch processing systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch while working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and support complex batch processing solutions using Spring Batch.
- Create and optimize ETL-like data processing workflows for large volumes of data.
- Design robust batch jobs, job scheduling mechanisms, and fault-tolerant processing frameworks.
- Integrate applications with databases, external APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application efficiency.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Create technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
Mandatory Skills
Core Java & Backend Development
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
- Solid experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Spring Batch Expertise
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing:
- Job Configuration
- Chunk Processing
- Item Readers, Processors, and Writers
- Job Scheduling
- Partitioning and Parallel Processing
- Job Monitoring and Error Handling
- Restartability and Fault Tolerance
- Experience handling high-volume batch processing.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
