Job Description and Responsibilities

The Cyber Security division of Broadcom’s Global Technology Organization (GTO) is a technology forward organization constantly looking for new innovative solutions to implement while making security the base principle, not just the perimeter. Broadcom GTO implements leading edge new technologies and services that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the workforce.

This position is based in Bangalore, India, reporting to the Identity Platform Architect & Manager. The role is focused on supporting, administering, and securing Broadcom’s core Identity and Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and physical security infrastructure. A degree in Information Technology with a minimum of 5 years IT Support experience is desired. This is a full-time, in-office position (no remote work).

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Identity & Access Management (IAM) Administration

• SSO & Federated Identity: Ensure high availability, stability, and tier-3 support for enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms, industry leading identity providers, and protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIMv2).
• Security, Vulnerability & PII Governance: Address identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Strictly govern Personally Identifiable Information (PII) handling and enforce corporate security policies across all identity systems.
• Active Directory: Practical knowledge of Active Directory environments. Support, manage, and troubleshoot user, group, and core object management issues.
• Logging & Analytics: Utilize SIEM and logging platforms for real-time audit logging, incident investigation, and parsing rule creation.

2. Enterprise Network Security & ZTNA

• Zero Trust & Network Security: Oversee deployment, policy enforcement, and compliance tracking for ZTNA, Secure Web Gateways, and VPN solutions.
• Endpoint Agent Health: Monitor agent compliance, resolve edge-case user authentication issues (e.g., blank auth windows, proxy avoidance blocks), and tune alerts to reduce noise.

3. Physical Security & Camera Infrastructure (Card & Camera)

• Knowledge of Windows Server: Experience in troubleshooting Windows Server related issues. Able to analyse the logs to identify the root cause (RCA).
• Camera Operations: Oversee technical operations, firmware upgrades, and security baselines for Video Management Systems and camera fleets globally (AMER, EMEA, APAC, INDIA).
• High Availability (HA) & Integrations: Design and execute High Availability (HA) architectures across data centers for management/recording servers. Integrate physical access control systems with central identity platforms and digital badging initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiencies

• Identity & Access Management: Deep practical knowledge of industry standard identity providers, federation standards (SAML, OAuth, SCIMv2), and large-scale, multi-domain Active Directory environments.
• ZTNA & Network Security: Demonstrated proficiency with ZTNA architectures, Secure Web Gateways, VPNs, and firewall policy management.
• Physical Access & Video Management: Direct operational experience with Video Management Software, IP camera management tools, and Access Control Systems.
• Analytics & ITSM: Experience using SIEM, Log analytics, and ITSM/project tools.
• Scripting & Automation (Nice-to-Have): Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) or workflow automation tools to help streamline repetitive operational tasks is a plus.

• Operational Excellence: Strong background in root-cause analysis (RCA), disaster recovery planning, high-availability architecture design, and operationalizing new enterprise services.
• Documentation & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to craft standard operating procedures, architectural blueprints, technical knowledge bases, and executive updates.
