Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Platform Services

Overview
We are building the next generation of AI-powered agent and extensibility platforms that enable intelligent systems to access enterprise knowledge, execute actions, integrate with external systems, and automate complex workflows. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate platform capabilities that allow developers, customers, and partners to extend AI experiences through tools, integrations, workflows, and agent-based solutions. You will work across distributed systems, cloud services, APIs, developer platforms, and AI-powered applications to deliver highly scalable and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable platform services and APIs.

  • Build capabilities that enable intelligent agents to discover information, invoke tools, execute actions, and orchestrate workflows.

  • Own features from design through deployment and production operations.

  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical reviews.

  • Improve service performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and platform components.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and partner engineering teams.

  • Investigate production issues and implement long-term solutions.

  • Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, testing practices, and operational excellence.

  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Deep experience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms.
  • Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, resiliency, and performance engineering.
  • Extensive experience with modern cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects involving multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
  • Track record of delivering highly reliable production services at scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 
    • OR equivalent experience. 
  • Experience building developer platforms, integration platforms, or extensibility ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI platforms, agent systems, workflow automation, or orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed data platforms.
  • Experience driving technology strategy and platform evolution across organizations.
