We are currently seeking a SCCM - Senior Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) L3 to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary 
We are looking for a highly skilled SCCM L3 Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft 
Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM / SCCM) to lead and support end-to-end 
SCCM infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, and administration. The 
ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in standing up a new SCCM 
instance from scratch, configuring all core components, and managing ongoing L3
level support for enterprise environments. 
This role requires strong technical knowledge of SCCM architecture, OS deployment, 
patch management, software deployment, client health, reporting, security 
integration, and troubleshooting complex issues across large-scale environments. 
Key Responsibilities 
SCCM Infrastructure Build & Configuration 
• Design, install, and configure a new SCCM/MECM environment from scratch 
based on business and technical requirements. 
• Build and configure Primary Site, Secondary Site, Management Point, 
Distribution Point, Software Update Point, Reporting Services Point, and 
other SCCM roles as needed. 
• Perform site design, boundary/boundary group creation, discovery methods 
setup, client push configuration, and hierarchy planning. 
• Configure SQL Server integration, SCCM database settings, and performance 
optimization. 
• Set up PKI / certificate-based communication, enhanced HTTP, and security 
configurations where required. 
• Implement role-based administration, collections, maintenance windows, and 
security scopes. 
Endpoint Management & Administration 
Sensitivity Label: General 
• Manage SCCM for software deployment, application packaging, patching, 
operating system deployment, inventory, compliance, and endpoint 
lifecycle management. 
• Create and manage device collections, user collections, applications, 
packages, task sequences, baselines, and configuration items. 
• Configure and maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) including boot 
images, driver packages, MDT integration (if applicable), and imaging workflows. 
• Manage Windows patching through SCCM and WSUS integration, including ADR 
creation, deployment rings, compliance monitoring, and remediation. 
• Administer third-party patching and application deployment where applicable. 
L3 Support & Troubleshooting 
• Provide L3 level support for complex SCCM issues involving client installation, 
policy retrieval, content distribution, PXE, imaging, software center, patch 
failures, and reporting. 
• Troubleshoot issues related to site components, client communication, 
content replication, SQL performance, WSUS sync, and distribution point 
health. 
• Perform deep-dive analysis using SCCM logs, SQL queries, PowerShell, WMI, 
and Windows event logs. 
• Handle escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and 
permanent fixes for recurring issues. 
• Ensure SCCM environment stability, availability, and performance across 
enterprise endpoints. 
Automation, Compliance & Optimization 
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for SCCM automation, reporting, 
health checks, and administrative tasks. 
• Monitor and improve client health, deployment success rates, patch 
compliance, and content distribution efficiency. 
• Optimize SCCM performance and infrastructure based on capacity, scalability, 
and operational requirements. 
• Maintain dashboards, compliance reports, inventory reports, and deployment 
status reports for stakeholders. 
Sensitivity Label: General 
• Support integration with Microsoft Intune / Co-Management / Autopilot where 
required. 
Documentation & Governance 
• Create detailed build documents, SOPs, architecture diagrams, operational 
runbooks, and KT documents. 
• Participate in change management, CAB reviews, implementation planning, and 
production rollouts. 
• Follow security, compliance, and governance standards for endpoint 
management platforms. 
• Support audit requirements and ensure operational documentation remains 
current. 
Required Skills & Experience 
Mandatory Technical Skills 
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SCCM / MECM administration and 
engineering 
• Proven experience in building and configuring SCCM from scratch 
• Expertise in:  
o SCCM Site installation and hierarchy design 
o Management Point / Distribution Point / SUP / Reporting Point 
configuration 
o Boundary and Boundary Group setup 
o Client installation and troubleshooting 
o Software deployment and application lifecycle management 
o Patch management and WSUS integration 
o Operating System Deployment (OSD) 
o PXE boot and imaging troubleshooting 
o SCCM reporting and SQL-based troubleshooting 
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and 
PKI 
Sensitivity Label: General 
• Strong troubleshooting skills in SCCM logs, client logs, WSUS sync issues, 
content distribution, and deployment failures 
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for SCCM administration and automation 
• Good understanding of SQL Server related to SCCM backend support 
• Experience with endpoint compliance, inventory, software metering, and 
baseline management 
Preferred Skills 
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Co-Management, and Autopilot 
• Knowledge of MDT integration 
• Familiarity with cloud attach scenarios 
• Understanding of endpoint security integrations 
• Experience in large enterprise environments with distributed infrastructure 
Experience Required 
• 8+ years of overall IT experience 
• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in SCCM / MECM 
• At least 3+ years in L3 support / engineering role 
• Proven experience in greenfield SCCM implementation / new environment 
setup 
Educational Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related 
field 
• Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred
