Job Summary:

The Sales Support Representative (SSR) serves as the primary customer contact for sales support activities, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to deliver timely and competitive proposals. The role supports sales growth, quotation performance, forecasting accuracy, opportunity pipeline management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the key point of contact for customer inquiries, quotations, and commercial support.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Site Hubs, and Sales teams to prepare accurate and timely proposals.
• Review customer specifications and documents to ensure compliance with Flowserve technical and commercial requirements.
• Manage aftermarket quotations, strategic offerings, win-back opportunities, and daily customer proposals.
• Monitor proposals throughout the complete bid cycle and maintain updates in the designated workload management tool.
• Support quotation prioritization, cycle-time reduction, delivery-time improvement, and rework minimization.
• Prepare high-quality, value-priced proposals to support order fulfilment and maximize sales bookings.
• Track and support sales forecast processes, including 30-day forecasts, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and QBR analytics.
• Compile weekly sales reports and maintain accurate sales records, training records, organization charts, and related information.
• Support sales leadership with performance-gap analysis, forecast accuracy, sales productivity reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer experience, quotation hit rates, and overall sales efficiency.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in sales support, customer service, commercial administration, or contract administration within an engineered manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of pumps, rotating equipment, pump applications, parts, programs, and related processes.
• Exposure to aftermarket quotations, pricing, contract review, ERP administration, and customer relationship management.
• Experience supporting power generation and utility industry customers is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, reporting, and data-management skills.
