QA Engineer – Manual/Functional Testing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing to support quality assurance activities across business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a quality-first mindset. Exposure to ETL testing, Banking domain, and Automation Testing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Manual and Functional Testing for enterprise applications.

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

• Execute test cases, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Perform regression, system, integration, and UAT testing as required.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Provide regular testing status updates and maintain test documentation.

• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Banking domain knowledge.

• ETL testing knowledge.

• Exposure to Automation Testing.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices.
