Summary:
As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves executing comprehensive data migration tasks by extracting, transforming, and loading data into designated target systems following established guidelines. The role includes building, running, and validating migration scripts and processes to maintain high standards of data quality and consistency. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with various teams to ensure smooth data transitions and addresses any challenges that arise during the migration process, ensuring that project timelines and objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and execution of migration strategies to ensure seamless data transfer.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align migration activities with business requirements.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and integration within the project.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, Python (Programming Language), Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows.
- Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques to handle complex datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data migration processes to enhance performance and reliability.
- Experience with scripting and automation to streamline migration tasks.

Additional Information:
