We are seeking an experienced Engineer with relevant expertise in advanced production/maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing application/maintenance plans to optimize efficiency, meet customer demand, and ensure effective resource utilization. This role includes supervision of refractory installation and maintenance, coordination with maintenance and operations teams and adhere to plant safety and quality standards.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgy or a related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience in CONARC/EAF Steel Melting Shop operations.
• Strong experience in refractory brick installation, lining and maintenance activities.
• Strong proficiency in heavy automobile equipment or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of plant safety, refractory practice and EAF/CONARC Processes.

 

Your role

We are currently looking for a proactive, action-oriented and highly motivated individual to help us to planning maintenance of RHIM heavy equipment & machinery at customer side.

Your tasks will include:

• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and resources.
• Ensure equipment availability from time to time
• Able to manage 8 hrs. shift work; in case of emergency, duty hours may extend up to 12 hours.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Manage production planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and inventory turnover.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Support new product introductions by aligning production schedules with launch timelines.
