IT Business Partner - PjM & ICT India

Job Overview

As an IT Business Partner for Project Management & ICT India, you will lead the alignment of digital and technology initiatives with the priorities of Global Project Management and ICT India's growth strategy.

You will partner with business leaders to define technology roadmaps, improve project execution capabilities, and identify opportunities to leverage enterprise platforms, data, automation and AI. In addition to traditional IT business partnering responsibilities, the role will support early-stage exploration and development of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate business opportunities and technical feasibility, working closely with technical teams and ensuring alignment with established technology standards and governance processes.

You will play a key role in ensuring that technology enables operational efficiency, scalability and growth across both Global Project Management and ICT India.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement & partnership

• Act as the single-entry point between ICT Project Management leadership teams and the IT organization.
• Build trusted relationships with Project Management Leaders and individual contributors to understand priorities, pain points, and future needs.
• Drive process ownership and fundamentals of data management to enable IT solutions (including AI) using vetted data.

Digital strategy & transformation

• Translate Project Management business strategy into a multi-year Digital & Technology Roadmap.
• Identify and drive digital transformation opportunities across data and processes from project schedules, P&Ls, risks, change management, PAC Processes, deliverable management, BOM creation, routings, design for sustainability, test and prototype labs
• Align Business Unit priorities with technical functions strategies and enterprise platforms (e.g., Planisware, TEBIT, SAP, analytics and AI capabilities).

What your background should look like:

• College degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience in an IT Business Partner, Business Relationship Manager, or similar role.
• Experience working with Project Management, Engineering, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven experience in IT project and portfolio management in complex business environments.
• Strong track record of building governance models and senior stakeholder partnerships.
• Broad working knowledge of key IT domains (ERP, analytics, integration, automation).
• Experience applying IT best-practice methodologies (e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Experience working in global, virtual, and matrixed organizations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into digital, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to business value.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Structured, value-driven mindset with a clear focus on outcomes and execution.
• Experience working with SQL querying language, PowerQuery, Power BI, and MS Power Platform
• Background in PLM systems / Planisware is a plus
