 Roles & responsibilities 
Lead the design, development, and delivery of Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business reporting and analytics needs.
Oversee data modeling, including measures (DAX) and calculated columns, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance.
Drive SQL best practices across the team, including querying, optimization, and management of large datasets.
Manage integration of Power BI with multiple data sources such as databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Provide leadership in code reviews and report reviews, ensuring high standards of performance, usability, and data quality.
Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving complex data, performance, and reporting issues, while ensuring timely support to end users.
Ensure continuous improvement of existing Power BI solutions, including enhancements, optimizations, and production support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical leads to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Lead technical discussions, solution design reviews, and data feasibility assessments.
Mentor and guide team members on SQL best practices, Power BI development, and data modeling techniques; act as a technical escalation point.

Drive knowledge sharing, training sessions, and capability building within the team.
Manage priorities, resource planning, and delivery timelines in an Agile environment.
Stay updated with emerging BI tools, SQL advancements, and analytics trends, and drive adoption of best practices.
Support pre-sales activities by developing proof-of-concepts (POCs) and demo solutions for internal and client presentations.
Ensure strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration.

Educational qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any equivalent.
