Job Description: Application Support Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Manager to oversee application support operations, ensure application availability, coordinate with vendors, and support business and regulatory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, analytical abilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience in application support and maintenance.

Mandatory Requirements
•    Minimum 6 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Application Management.
•    Familiarity with technologies such as .NET Framework or other application development frameworks.
•    Working knowledge of databases such as MS SQL Server and MySQL.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data objectively.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
•    Experience in incident management, issue resolution, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
•    Support the operational team in the timely resolution of application issues in coordination with application vendors and internal teams.
•    Ensure smooth functioning, availability, and performance of business applications.
•    Review and understand Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and support application enhancements and change requests.
•    Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-deployment validation activities.
•    Monitor application health and ensure minimal downtime through proactive support and issue management.
•    Assist in extracting and delivering data reports to meet business and regulatory requirements within defined timelines.
•    Identify opportunities to automate data extraction and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
•    Analyze application-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
•    Maintain application support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
•    Collaborate with business users, vendors, and technical teams to ensure service-level objectives are met.
