Could you be the full-time Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist in Bangalore we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your AI and data science expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a crucial role in defining, developing, managing, and sustaining AI models to meet project and customer needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as software development, data engineering, and project management), collaborate with domain experts to understand requirements and data characteristics, and research new methods to enhance the robustness and trustworthiness of AI/ML algorithms, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of designing, building, and maintaining AI/ML models, but also supporting the industrialization of AI solutions and contributing to the AI community through publications and projects.

We’ll look to you for:

• Collecting, transforming, and exploring data from diverse sources to prepare it for model construction

• Identifying biases or flaws in datasets and ensuring training/validation design aligns with operational needs

• Collaborating with domain experts to understand product specifics and data characteristics

• Designing and implementing AI/ML models to automate and enhance operational efficiency

• Researching new methods to improve AI robustness, explainability, and trustworthiness

• Showcasing AI capabilities through prototypes, presentations, dashboards, and technical reports

• Collaborating with external partners to evaluate new mathematical approaches and AI technologies

• Supporting software development teams in industrializing AI solutions

• Planning and executing AI training sessions

• Participating in conferences and contributing to the AI community

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

• Degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, or engineering supplemented by extensive training in Data Science and AI (minimum 8 years of experience)

• Excellent knowledge of Python programming

• Knowledge of modern statistics, text mining, image processing, or natural language processing (NLP, NLI, NLU)

• Experience with Python data science tools (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, Keras, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform

• Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, dimensionality reduction, Bayesian models, neural networks, deep learning)

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) such as BERT, GPT-4, Llama 2, and Mistral

• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools

• Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks (e.g., HuggingFace, LlamaIndex)

• Experience developing AI-based retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., PaaS, SaaS, REST APIs, serverless functions)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Flexibility to work successfully with both local and international teams

• Fluent in English
