Unit Head - Credit Admin| Mumbai

1. The Unit Head – Credit Administration is responsible for leading and overseeing the checker function within the Credit Administration team for SME and Wholesale Banking portfolios. 
2. The role ensures accurate verification of credit documentation, compliance with approved sanction terms, adherence to regulatory and internal policies, effective risk management, and timely processing within defined service levels. 
3. The incumbent will manage and mentor team members, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment of team objectives with organizational goals.

1. Verify sanction letters, loan documents, security documents, and mortgage creation documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved credit terms.
2. Review executed documents and authorize limit setup instructions in accordance with the Bank's policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
3. Coordinate with the Legal Department to obtain guidance and support document customization requirements wherever necessary.
4. Ensure compliance with all pre-disbursement conditions and approved sanction terms before processing and authorization.
5. Monitor and drive timely closure of non-recurring post-disbursement compliance requirements in coordination with business teams.
6. Ensure all credit administration activities are processed accurately, error-free, and within the stipulated turnaround times (TATs).
7. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, documentation, and compliance-related risks to safeguard the Bank's interests.
8. Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
9. Manage, mentor and empower team members to achieve high performance, productivity, and alignment with organizational objectives.
10. Drive timely resolution of stakeholder queries and ensure effective coordination with business, operations, legal, and other internal teams.
11. Review operational processes and recommend improvements in documentation, credit administration, and customer onboarding processes to enhance efficiency, control and customer experience.            

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Qualification: Graduation/ Post‑Graduation (Any specialization)
