Role name and description 

Manager is primarily responsible for the planning of engagement(s), managing client accounts, gathering, validating and evaluating client information, generating Tax Compliance products and assuring quality. Serve as a point of contact for the engagement(s). Also, act as a counsellor for Assistant Manager.

 

Your key responsibilities

- Responsible for client accounts;
- Communicates directly with the onshore engagement teams / clients.

- Manage own and/or other’s impact on project economics, including controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences
- Develops, mentors and supervises Advance Analyst(s), Tax Senior(s) and Assistant Manager(s)
- May act as a Counsellor
- Adheres to practice protocols and other internal processes consistently
- Review complex US international tax calculations, workpapers, and tax returns.

- Oversee preparation and review of international information reporting, including- Form 926, 5471, 8858, 8865, 8621, 8990 and other applicable international information returns.

- Review calculations relating to GILTI, tested income/loss, QBAI, Subpart F, Foreign Tax credit calculations, CFC/CFP Testing, PFIC Testing, quarterly and annual taxable income, E&P computations and BEAT.

- Reviewing Sch K, K1, K2 and K3 to ensure all relevant details are accurate and complete.

- Assist Seniors in addressing identified tax issues and finalizing tax returns or taxable income computations within the established deadline.

- Escalate significant technical, quality, or deadline related matters to senior leadership.
- Demonstrate leadership and executive presence
- Use technology to share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.

- Posses good communication Skills
- Demonstrate high degree of accounting and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate good computer knowledge - good knowledge in MS Excel and a basic knowledge of other MS Office, Web-based applications.

- Experience in Corptax, Gosystem or Onesource would be an added advantage.

- Experience with process improvement, automation, and tax technology implementation.

 

 

What we look for

 

    - CA, or US CPA preferred qualification. 

    - 6 to 9 years of US tax experience, with significant experience in US international taxation
