We are looking for a curious, analytical, and forward-thinking professional to join our Cost Engineering organization within Direct Procurement and support its digital transformation journey.

In this role, you will work across Cost Engineering, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Digital teams to improve decision-making, enhance productivity, and develop new ways of working through data analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence.

You will contribute to shaping the future of Cost Engineering by transforming complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.

This is a full time position to be based in Chakan, India.

What you will do

As a Cost Engineering & Digital Transformation Analyst, you will:

• Analyse Cost Engineering processes and data to identify opportunities for digitalisation, automation, and improved decision-making
• Translate business challenges into structured, data-driven solutions, working closely with Cost Engineering subject-matter experts.
• Develop analytical models, dashboards, data visualisations, and decision-support tools for equipment cost assessment and cost transparency Translate business needs into analytical models, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Support the development and implementation of digital and AI-enabled solutions for Cost Engineering, including should-costing applications
• Structure, connect, and analyse data from different sources to generate meaningful insights and improve data accessibility and quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of Cost Engineering processes through automation and smarter use of data.
• Collaborate with Cost Engineering, Engineering, Supplier Management, D&T, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into digital requirements and solutions.
• Support the definition and implementation of new digital workflows, methodologies, and ways of working.

We believe you have

• A university degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex business challenges.
• Experience working with data analysis, modelling, reporting, and decision-support tools.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Python, SQL, AI tools, or related technologies is considered an advantage.
• Ability to organize, connect, and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• nterest in digital technologies, Artificial Intelligence, process improvement, and business transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decisions using data-driven insights.
• A proactive mindset, curiosity, learning agility, and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Understanding of manufacturing environments, technical drawings, or industrial processes will be considered an advantage.
