Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure that software solutions effectively support organizational objectives and operational workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software configurations.
- Maintain documentation related to configuration changes and customizations to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Support testing activities by validating configuration changes and assisting in troubleshooting issues.
- Continuously update knowledge on software updates and industry best practices to enhance configuration strategies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing software modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Ability to analyze and resolve configuration-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration points between sales and distribution and other business functions.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
