The Voice & Messaging Commercials DGM owns the commercial governance for Vi's ILD Carrier Voice and A2P/Bulk Messaging business, ensuring revenue and margin targets are met through disciplined deal management, accurate MIS reporting, and robust SIP governance. This role enables the Carrier Voice and Messaging sales function by delivering timely incentive payouts, driving volume analytics, and acting as the primary commercial interface for revenue assurance and dispute resolution.

Key accountability Technical / Functional

1. Own revenue and margin delivery for the ILD Carrier Voice and A2P Bulk Messaging portfolio

   a. Track and report monthly revenue and margin performance against signed-off DB targets

   b. Leverage Telarix reports for voice business analytics and route-level margin analysis

   c. Drive commercial modelling for competitive deal structuring and hubbing cross-subsidisation

 

2. Govern commercial approvals, contract management, and rate alignment for Voice and Messaging deals

   a. Own commercial approval process for ILD Voice, Bulk SMS, IGCS, ITFS, and Voice Hubbing deals

   b. Manage contract closures and ensure alignment with SSC, Billing team, and VBS Finance for rate approvals

   c. Coordinate with Network, Legal, and Regulatory teams for contract-related incidences

 

3. Drive SIP governance and timely incentive payouts to the account management team

   a. Compute monthly SIP for Voice and SMS and cross-check across Carrier segments

   b. Ensure monthly SIP updates are shared between 23rd and 26th without exception

   c. Validate SIP accuracy with Finance and flag anomalies before disbursement

 

4. Deliver bulk SMS volume movement analytics to support pricing and growth decisions

   a. Analyse volume trends by route, customer, and product type using MIS data

   b. Provide actionable insights to account managers for pricing and retention decisions

   c. Track A2P messaging pipeline and conversion metrics against DB plan

 

5. Ensure CFT alignment for accurate revenue reporting and audit readiness

   a. Coordinate with Finance-SSC for correct revenue and margin booking in Vi MIS

   b. Manage credit/debit note issuance with zero escalations and on-time delivery

   c. Act as Revenue Assurance SPOC for all customer disputes on volumes and credit notes; handle internal and external audit queries proactively
