OVERVIEW

 

The Business Analyst- Logistics is responsible for driving Operations with excellence. The candidate needs to align the priorities of Business stakeholders to Floor teams. She/ He is expected to be a functional expert in the process, provide directional clarity for the team, work with a continuous improvement mindset and show exceptional customer centricity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage transportation and warehousing activities with emphasis on route optimization and service performance.
• Own inbound prioritization and carrier coordination for the largest Business Unit.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure execution, capacity alignment, and issue resolution.
• Own extra cost approvals across all transportation lanes in line with defined guidelines.
• Perform cost–benefit analysis to support transportation, routing, and carrier decisions.
• Support spot carrier selection activities to enable cost optimization.
• Assist in calculation, monitoring, and alignment of transportation KPIs.
• Analyze operational performance data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Take ownership of all OTM-related operational issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
• Support OTM enhancements by assisting with requirements clarification and functional alignment.
• Participate in testing activities and provide support during hypercare phases.
• Perform data analysis using advanced Excel to support operational and decision-making needs.
• Participate in VSM (Value Stream Management) developmental projects and provide data as required.

KEY INTERFACES

• Supply Chain Stakeholders across markets, Transporters, Shippers, Direct Order Customers

• Business Processes: Logistics Processes, Invoicing, Warehouse management processes, Customs operations, Carrier/ Shipper management, Documentation and compliances
• Within KHC, this role will work very closely with Operations functions across global zones, GBS, Global Logistics, Availability Planning and IT

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

• 6-8 years’ Experience in Logistics Operations especially in Control tower Operations with awareness of Documentation and International logistics and shipping Operations
• Working Knowledge in OTM and SAP interfaces will be a added advantage
• Hands on work attitude and customer centric. Bias towards Action
• Excellent Interpersonal skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must fluently speak English
