·  Reporting To: Assistant Manager / Manager - Production

·  Function: Plate Generation Operations

Qualification/ Personal Attributes

·  Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

·  3-6 years of experience in battery manufacturing, plate generation, or similar process manufacturing operations.

·  Good understanding of plate generation processes, process control, and production operations.

·  Knowledge of manpower management and shop floor coordination.

·  Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.

·  Basic knowledge of quality systems, EHS standards, and statutory compliance requirements.

·  Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

·  Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

·  Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
 ·  Execute plate generation operations during the assigned shift to achieve production targets.

·  Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

·  Ensure compliance with quality requirements and process specifications.

·  Supervise operators and contract manpower deployed in the section.

·  Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.

·  Maintain shift-wise production records and process documentation.

·  Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, and statutory requirements.

·  Participate in productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.

·  Support training and skill development of operators and technicians.
