Job Description

Chief Manager - Commercial Business

Assess and evaluate risks for SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) customers seeking insurance coverage.Analyze proposal forms, financials, risk inspection reports, and underwriting information.Determine policy terms, conditions, coverage limits, deductibles, and premium pricing.Underwrite Property, Engineering, Liability, Marine, and other SME-related insurance products.Ensure adherence to company underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with sales teams, brokers, and channel partners for quotation and policy issuance.Review claim history, loss ratios, and portfolio performance to maintain profitability.Provide risk assessment recommendations and seek approvals for non-standard or high-risk cases.Support portfolio growth through timely quote issuance, renewals, and customer retention initiatives.Prepare MIS reports, track underwriting performance, and contribute to product and process improvements.
