Full Stack Developer - Python & React

Role:

The engineer should have strong software engineering experience with a focus on Python-based backend services, Generative AI solutions, React.js applications, and modern development and deployment practices.

Python

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern Python development practices.
• Experience building maintainable, production-grade backend services and REST APIs, preferably using FastAPI.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, type hints, exception handling, dependency management, and application architecture.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using tools such as pytest.
• Ability to debug, profile, and optimize Python applications.

Generative AI

• Hands-on experience building and integrating Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications.
• Experience working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and agentic workflows.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, and grounding techniques.
• Experience integrating GenAI capabilities into production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, observability, latency, and cost optimization.
• Experience with leading GenAI frameworks, model providers, and orchestration tools is preferred.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, security, and safe deployment practices for GenAI applications.

React.js

• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience building responsive, maintainable, and production-grade web applications.
• Good understanding of component-based architecture, state management, hooks, routing, and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience integrating React applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with frontend testing, build tooling, dependency management, and modern development practices.

MongoDB

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB in production applications.
• Ability to design appropriate document schemas and data models.
• Experience writing MongoDB queries and aggregation pipelines.
• Understanding of indexes, query optimization, and database performance.
• Experience integrating MongoDB with Python using PyMongo, Motor, or equivalent libraries.

Docker

• Strong understanding of Docker and containerized application development.
• Ability to create secure and efficient Dockerfiles.
• Experience using Docker Compose for local development and service orchestration.
• Understanding of container networking, volumes, environment configuration, and troubleshooting.

CI/CD

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to automate code quality checks, testing, Docker image creation, and deployment.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of branching strategies, release workflows, environment management, and deployment automation.

General Engineering

• Strong Git and code-review practices.
• Understanding of API design, application security, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• Comfortable working with Linux-based development and production environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across application, AI/LLM, database, container, and deployment layers.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Skills:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience. Skills required are
• Python Backend Engineering – Strong Python development skills with experience building production-grade backend services, APIs, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Generative AI / LLM Engineering – Experience building GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, tool calling, agentic workflows, and evaluation techniques.
• React.js Frontend Development – Strong experience building modern, responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, hooks, state management, and API integrations.
• MongoDB & NoSQL Development – Hands-on experience with MongoDB data modeling, aggregation pipelines, indexing, query optimization, and Python integration.
• Docker & Containerization – Strong experience containerizing applications, writing efficient Dockerfiles, using Docker Compose, and troubleshooting container environments.
• CI/CD & DevOps Automation – Experience designing automated pipelines for testing, code quality, builds, releases, and deployments using modern CI/CD platforms.
• API & Microservices Architecture – Strong understanding of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend design, and production application architecture.
• Production Engineering & Observability – Experience with Git, Linux, application security, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operating reliable production systems.
