Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIBCO Spotfire Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the Spotfire analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Spotfire administration, platform upgrades, security management, automation services, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong analytical skills, database knowledge, and experience supporting business intelligence solutions in enterprise environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain TIBCO Spotfire environments, including server configuration and performance optimization.
• Manage Spotfire installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Configure and maintain secure connections between Spotfire and enterprise data sources.
• Implement and manage Spotfire Automation Services for report scheduling and distribution.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability and proactively resolve issues.
• Administer user access, authentication, authorization, and security roles in compliance with organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot system, application, and data connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and development teams to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Support platform governance, security, and compliance initiatives.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience administering and supporting TIBCO Spotfire environments.
• Experience with Spotfire server installation, configuration, upgrades, and migration activities.
• Hands-on experience managing security groups, users, and permissions.
• Knowledge of database administration concepts and SQL querying.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Exposure to enterprise BI ecosystems and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of automation and scheduling frameworks.
