Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve any disruptions that may impact business continuity, thereby playing a vital role in supporting the overall technology infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in GCP Dataflow.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data processing and pipeline orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to support operational tasks.
- Understanding of data integration and transformation concepts within cloud environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in GCP Dataflow.
- This position is based at our M2B - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
