Equipment & Specialty Conveyors - Design Draughtsman
Role & Responsibilities:
- Should have experience in analysis and design of Belt Conveyors, Pipe Conveyors, Stacker Reclaimers, Wagon Tipplers, Feeders etc.
- Should have detailed engineering experience in experience in stacker reclaimer, port cranes, ship loader, unloader, etc. is required
- Prepare design calculations, equipment sizing, drive selection, technical evaluation & specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
- Review drawings, and technical offers to ensure compliance with project specifications and industrial standards.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations, vendor offer reviews and provide recommendations for procurement.
- Review and approve vendor documents, calculations, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and design submissions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and International standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical support to project teams during project execution, construction and commissioning phases.
- Experience in software like Auto Cad and Inventor for modelling is necessary
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications: Full-time Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Minimum years of experience & Industry Preference:
- 3-20 years of experience in engineering & design of Material Handling, mining, steel or port equipment.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, drive systems, hydraulics, and structural engineering.
- Should be able to perform equipment sizing calculations, design validation, and engineering documentation.
- Experience in engineering consultancy, design centres, or EPC organizations will be preferred.
