Job Title Storage Automation EngineerJob Summary
We are looking for an experienced Storage Automation Engineer with strong handson expertise in enterprise SAN NAS storage administration and infrastructure automation The role will focus on automating storage provisioning lifecycle management monitoring and operational activities across heterogeneous storage platforms such as Dell EMC NetApp Hitachi IBM Storage and Pure Storage
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python Ansible REST APIs Terraform and Shell scripting along with solid LinuxUnix administration and storage troubleshooting capabilities
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments across Dell EMC NetApp Hitachi IBM and related platforms
Design and develop storage automation frameworks using Python Ansible REST APIs Terraform and Shell scripting
Automate storage provisioning allocation decommissioning capacity management and lifecycle activities
Integrate storage platforms with enterprise tools using REST APIs and automation workflows
Develop reusable scripts modules playbooks and Infrastructure as Code templates to improve operational efficiency
Monitor storage capacity availability utilization latency throughput and overall performance and proactively address infrastructure issues
Perform storagerelated troubleshooting and rootcause analysis across SAN NAS LinuxUnix VMware and application environments
Support storage migrations upgrades patching capacity expansion and technology refresh activities
Integrate automation workflows with ServiceNow Jenkins GitHub Actions and other operationalCICD tools where required
Support storage requirements for VMware Kubernetes OpenShift and cloud platforms
Participate in Incident Problem and Change Management processes aligned with ITIL practices
Support Disaster Recovery Business Continuity backup and recovery requirements for critical storage infrastructure

Experience Competencies
Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise storage administration infrastructure automation or storage engineering
Strong handson knowledge of SANNAS architecture storage provisioning performance monitoring capacity management and troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience automating storage operations using Python Ansible REST APIs Terraform or Shell scripting
Ability to troubleshoot complex storage and infrastructure issues in large enterprise environments
Good understanding of storage integrations with VMware LinuxUnix cloud container backup and monitoring platforms
