Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure that software solutions effectively support organizational objectives and operational workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software customization.
- Document configuration changes and maintain accurate records to support audit and compliance needs.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with problem-solving.
- Continuously monitor and improve configuration processes to enhance software performance and reliability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution business processes within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD configurations.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules such as Materials Management and Finance.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
