Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to ensure the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands a dynamic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining system reliability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system stability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and support skills.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on system support priorities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Enterprise Architecture and Design.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Ansible on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring and log analysis techniques.
- Ability to design and implement scalable Splunk solutions tailored to business needs.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues using Splunk.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to optimize support processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Splunk Enterprise Architecture and Design.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
