Teamcenter Manufacturing Functional Expert

We are seeking a Teamcenter Manufacturing Functional Expert to join our Teamcenter and EasyPlan Development Team. This role is embedded within the product development organisation and serves as a key link between manufacturing engineering and software development.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing and EasyPlan, along with strong knowledge of Product Bill of Process (BOP), Plant Bill of Process (BOP), and manufacturing resources. Working closely with developers, architects, and product owners, the candidate will help ensure that system designs and solutions accurately reflect real-world manufacturing processes and business requirements.

This is not a traditional business analyst role. The position requires active participation in solution design discussions, application testing, technical reviews, and functional guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Analyse business and manufacturing requirements and perform feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate manufacturing processes into functional specifications.
• Participate in solution design reviews and provide domain expertise on Teamcenter Manufacturing and EasyPlan functionalities.
• Create and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios.
• Validate developed applications through functional and integration testing.
• Identify and document defects and support issue resolution activities.
• Provide guidance on Product BOP, Plant BOP, and manufacturing resource modelling.
• Support agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story reviews.
• Assist development teams in understanding manufacturing workflows, data structures, and process requirements.

Support change management activities related to engineering and manufacturing data.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 3 to 7 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing (Process Planner/Manufacturing Process Planner) and EasyPlan.
• Experience working with software development teams in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Experience in application testing, user acceptance testing, or functional validation activities.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

• Product BOP (Bill of Process) and Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Plant BOP structures including operations, stations, production lines, and work cells
• Manufacturing resources including tools, fixtures, equipment, and workstation allocation
• Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP)
• BOM/BOP synchronization processes
• Engineering Change Management, including Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
• Manufacturing process planning and production workflows

Preferred Skills

• PLM configuration or customization exposure
• Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing concepts
• Understanding of PLM-MES integrations
• Experience supporting global development teams
