Job Description – Product Manager (SBE) | 

Position: Product Manager – SBE (Small Business Enterprises)
Department: Consumer Bank
Location: PAN India
Grade: Manager / Senior Manager (Depending on Experience)

Job Purpose

The Product Manager – SBE will be responsible for managing and driving the growth of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) banking products. The role involves product development, portfolio management, liability and asset business growth, process enhancement, customer experience improvement, and coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the SBE product portfolio across assigned regions.
• Develop and implement product strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to enhance existing products and launch new offerings.
• Drive acquisition, activation, and portfolio deepening for SBE customers.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Marketing teams for successful product execution.
• Monitor product performance, business metrics, and customer feedback to recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Prepare business cases, pricing models, product notes, and management presentations.
• Support digitization initiatives and process automation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Conduct training and knowledge sessions for sales and business teams on product updates.
• Drive portfolio profitability through balance growth, fee income generation, and customer engagement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

• MBA/PGDM (Finance, Marketing, Banking) from a recognized institute.
• Graduation in any discipline.

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in Banking, Product Management, Business Banking, SME Banking, or Retail Banking.
• Experience in managing liability, lending, or digital banking products will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of SBE/SME customer segments and banking products.
