Job Purpose: Lead - Integrated Management System (IMS) is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Integrated Management System. This role ensures that IMS effectively integrates various management standards and frameworks, such as quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems. The Lead will focus on ensuring comprehensive compliance with industry standards, optimizing system performance, and driving operational efficiency through regular audits, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement.

IMS Framework Design and Integration:

Design and integrate a comprehensive Integrated Management System (IMS) that aligns with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and organizational objectives.

Ensure the IMS framework integrates quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems into a cohesive structure that enhances operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, leverage industry best practices and technological advancements to create a robust and scalable IMS.

System Architecture and Process Optimization:

Develop and refine the architecture of the IMS to support seamless integration across various management systems.

Focus on process optimization by implementing advanced methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management (BPM), utilize process mapping and simulation tools to identify inefficiencies and enhance process performance, ensuring that the IMS supports continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Risk Management and Compliance Integration:

Integrate comprehensive risk management practices within the IMS to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks.

Implement advanced risk assessment tools and techniques, including probabilistic risk analysis and scenario planning, to ensure robust risk management, ensure that the IMS supports compliance with local, national, and international regulations by embedding compliance checks and controls within the system.

Performance Monitoring and Data Analytics:

Establish advanced performance monitoring mechanisms using data analytics and real-time dashboards.

Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the IMS and its impact on organizational performance, utilize data analytics platforms and business intelligence tools to analyze performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Audit and Assurance Processes:

Develop and manage rigorous internal and external audit processes to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the IMS, implement automated audit management systems to streamline audit processes, track findings, and ensure timely corrective actions.

Coordinate with certification bodies and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and certification status.

Technology Integration and System Upgrades:

Lead the integration of advanced technologies and digital solutions within the IMS to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Explore and implement emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain to improve data accuracy, process automation, and system interoperability, plan and execute system upgrades to ensure the IMS remains current with technological advancements and industry standards.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or a related field

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant certification in Operations Excellence (preferred)

Work Experience:

8+ years of experience in managing integrated management systems

Certifications in IMS standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
