Accountant – Manufacturing Firm

Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferred)

Job Location: Bapunagar

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

2. Handle advanced accounting activities and maintain accurate books of accounts.

3. Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, debit notes, and credit notes.

4. Manage vendors, including vendor coordination, payment follow-ups, and account reconciliation.

5. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

6. Perform bank reconciliation and maintain petty cash records.

7. Maintain purchase bills, expense records, vouchers, and supporting documents.

8. Coordinate with purchase, sales, stores, and dispatch departments.

9. Prepare outstanding payment reports and assist in monthly accounting reports.

10. Maintain proper documentation of invoices, delivery challans, and transport details.

11. Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of assigned work.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Strong knowledge of Advanced Accounting and Tally Prime.

2. Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and related accounting procedures.

3. Knowledge of E-Way Bill preparation.

4. Experience in vendor management and vendor reconciliation.

5. Knowledge of invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

6. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

7. Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

8. Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
