Job Description
Barista – Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages as per company standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment.
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the counter and work area.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and beverage presentation standards.
- Handle billing and POS operations, if required.
- Check stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
- Follow food safety, grooming, and uniform policies.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow opening and closing procedures as instructed by the supervisor.
