Business Data Analyst

1.Business Data Analysis and Reporting• Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance.• Prepare reports and dashboards to track sales, revenue, targets, achievements, and shortfalls.• Analyze salesperson-wise, brand-wise, category-wise, and location-wise performance.• Identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for business growth.• Develop reports to support management in making informed decisions.2. Sales Performance Analysis• Monitor salesperson-wise targets versus actual achievements.• Track order values, average billed value, order frequency, customer follow-ups, and sales conversion.• Identify missed targets, inactive customers, and opportunities for repeat business.• Analyze customer and market data to support sales planning and improve sales performance.• Provide actionable insights to help the company achieve its revenue targets.3. Process Improvement and Automation• Study existing business processes and identify inefficiencies, repetitive tasks, and areas for improvement.• Develop and document process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and departmental responsibilities.• Automate manual reporting and data-entry activities wherever possible.• Work on web applications, Google Sheets, forms, and other digital tools to improve data visibility and operational efficiency.• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements and suggest further enhancements.4. Cross-Departmental Coordination• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments to understand their requirements and challenges.• Track order processing, quotation follow-ups, order status updates, dispatches, and delivery-related information.• Improve communication and coordination between departments.• Ensure that business data is accurate, updated, and accessible to the relevant teams.5. MIS and Dashboard Management• Create and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports and interactive dashboards.• Establish performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee productivity, departmental performance, and business growth.• Develop structured reporting systems for regular performance reviews.• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.6. Business Planning and Decision Support• Analyze historical performance and prepare future business projections.• Compare actual results with planned targets and identify reasons for deviations.• Recommend practical strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency.• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and structured manner.
