Service Engineer

​Key Responsibilities

​Installation & Commissioning:

​Perform on-site installation, alignment, and calibration of new CNC routers and CO2 laser machines.

​Conduct thorough test runs to ensure machines operate at optimal precision and performance standards.

​Customer Training:

​Provide comprehensive operational and basic maintenance training to client operators and technicians.

​Guide customers on safety protocols, software usage (e.g., RDWorks, ArtCAM, Type3, or equivalent), and routine upkeep.

​Troubleshooting & Repairs:

​Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues promptly (both on-site and via remote support).

​Replace faulty components such as laser tubes, stepper/servo motors, drivers, power supplies, controller boards, and spindles.

​Maintenance:

​Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services to minimize unexpected breakdowns.

​Maintain detailed service logs, installation reports, and customer feedback forms.

​Spare Parts Management:

​Identify and recommend required spare parts and consumables to clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills

​Education: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

​Experience:

​Minimum 0 to 1 years of hands-on experience in servicing, repairing, or assembling CNC routers and CO2/Fiber laser machines.

​Freshers with exceptional technical aptitude and relevant internships may be considered for a junior role.

​Technical Knowledge:

​Strong understanding of CNC controllers (e.g., DSP, Mach3, NC Studio) and laser power systems.

​Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical blueprints.

​Familiarity with optics (mirrors and lenses alignment for CO2 lasers).

​Soft Skills:

​Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first attitude.

​Good communication and interpersonal skills.

​Willingness to travel extensively to client locations on short notice.

​Valid driver's license is a plus
