Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.

Preparing Financial Statements:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with income tax regulations.

Reconciliation:

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper matching of accounts.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.

Taxation:

• Handle Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings and ensure compliance with Indian tax laws.
• Ensure TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and timely deposits.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.

Audit Support:

• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Provide necessary documents and explanations to auditors during the audit process.

Costing & Budgeting:

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyze costs and suggest cost-control measures.

Financial Analysis:

• Prepare periodic financial reports and analysis for management.
• Analyze variances and identify financial trends.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure timely compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines.
• Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory bodies and tax authorities.

Educational Qualification:

• A degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) or Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 Months of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Indian tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Miracle) & MS Excel.
