Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Executive for our broking firm who has good working knowledge of accounting entries, Tally, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling statutory compliance of Accounts and Finance, and supporting the finance/accounts team in regular reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.

• Handle purchase, sales, expense, receipt, and payment entries.

• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements & Cash Flows.

• Work on GST calculation, reconciliation, return data preparation, and filing support.

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return-related work.

• Maintain vendor, client, and ledger reconciliations.

• Assist in preparing financial reports, MIS, and accounts statements.

• Coordinate with auditors for audit-related data and documentation.

• Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, vouchers, and accounting documents.

• Support accounts work related to the stock broking business, including client ledger checks, exchange-related accounting, and settlement-related records where required.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance or Accounts.

• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience.

• Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.

• Practical understanding of GST and TDS.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Good command over MS Advanced Excel, VBA, Macros, Pivot Table.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Knowledge of stock broking or financial services accounting will be preferred.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work with deadlines and handle compliance-related tasks carefully.
