Job Description
Prepare product-wise, job-wise, and project-wise costing.
Calculate material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
Prepare cost sheets and maintain costing records.
Analyze actual cost vs. estimated/budgeted cost.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, Sales, and Accounts departments for costing data.
Verify raw material consumption, wastage, labour, and other production expenses.
Assist in determining selling prices and profit margins.
Prepare quotations and costing for customer requirements/tenders, when required.
Monitor changes in raw material prices and their impact on product cost.
Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
Maintain accurate costing data in ERP/accounting software and Excel.
