Job Description

A Banking Loans Relationship Manager (RM) acquires, manages, and grows loan portfolios—such as personal, business, or commercial loans. They act as the primary liaison between borrowers and the bank, driving lending sales while ensuring credit quality, financial assessment, and regulatory compliance.


  • Loan Sourcing & Acquisition: Identify prospective individual borrowers, business owners, or corporate clients requiring funding.
  • Credit Analysis & Underwriting: Evaluate client financial statements, business plans, and risk profiles to structure appropriate loan facilities.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor existing loan accounts to ensure timely repayments, minimize defaults, and maintain healthy portfolio quality.
  • Cross-Selling & Advisory: Offer 360-degree banking solutions, including current/savings accounts, insurance, and working capital, alongside primary loan products.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines, and internal credit policies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with credit risk, operations, and legal teams for smooth loan sanctioning and disbursement.
