Position: Electrician

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment, identifying electrical faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently.

The candidate should have

good practical knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical components, panels, machinery, and basic electrical testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Installation & WiringPerform electrical installation, wiring, and connection work as per company requirements.

• Install and maintain switches, sockets, lights, electrical fixtures, panels, and other electrical components.
• Carry out wiring and electrical connections for machinery and equipment.
• Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Ensure proper connections and functioning of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical installations to identify loose connections, damaged wiring, or other potential issues.

2. Electrical MaintenanceConduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

• Maintain electrical machinery, panels, motors, control systems, and other related equipment.
• Perform routine checks to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Attend to electrical maintenance requirements and breakdowns on time.
• Replace damaged, worn-out, or defective electrical components when required.
• Maintain proper working condition of electrical equipment and systems.

3. Troubleshooting & RepairIdentify and diagnose electrical faults and technical problems.

• Troubleshoot issues related to wiring, power supply, electrical panels, motors, switches, and other components.
• Carry out necessary repair and replacement work.
• Use appropriate electrical testing equipment to identify faults.
• Take timely action during electrical breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Escalate major or complex electrical issues to the supervisor or maintenance head.

4. Electrical SafetyFollow all company safety rules, procedures, and electrical safety standards.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing electrical work.
• Ensure power is safely isolated before carrying out maintenance or repair work.
• Maintain a safe and clean working area.
• Report damaged equipment, electrical hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensure all electrical work is carried out responsibly and in accordance with safety practices.

5. Coordination & TeamworkCoordinate with the Maintenance, Production, and other relevant departments whenever required.

• Understand work requirements and complete assigned tasks within the specified timeline.
• Communicate electrical issues clearly to supervisors and concerned team members.
• Assist other maintenance team members with electrical-related activities when required.
• Follow instructions provided by the supervisor or maintenance manager.

6. Maintenance RecordsMaintain basic records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.

• Report completed maintenance work and identified electrical issues to the concerned supervisor.
• Keep track of replaced electrical components and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.

Mandatory SkillsThe candidate should have:

• Practical knowledge of electrical wiring and installation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
• Knowledge of electrical panels, switches, motors, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Educational QualificationITI – Electrician / Electrical Trade is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and practical electrical experience may also be considered.

• Experience Requirements1–2 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
• Candidates with experience in industrial, manufacturing, machinery maintenance, electrical maintenance, or commercial electrical work will be preferred.
• Practical hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance will be an advantage.

Preferred SkillsCandidates with the following additional skills will be preferred:

• Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical control panels.
• Knowledge of motors and machinery electrical connections.
• Experience with preventive electrical maintenance.
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and their applications.
• Ability to identify potential electrical problems before they result in breakdowns.

CompensationSalary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
