Job Vacancy: Fabrication Supervisor

Department: SS Fabrication

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily fabrication activities and production work.

- Handle fabrication work such as cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and fitting.

- Read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.

- Manage and guide fabricators, welders, fitters, and helpers.

- Ensure production targets are achieved within the given time.

- Maintain quality standards and minimize material wastage.

- Monitor work progress and coordinate with the production and design departments.

- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

- Maintain workplace safety and follow company safety procedures.

- Inspect finished products and ensure dimensional accuracy.

- Maintain daily production reports and job completion records.

- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline on the shop floor.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of fabrication processes and workshop operations.

- Ability to read engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Measuring Tape.

- Good team management and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to handle multiple fabrication jobs simultaneously.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
