Job Description

System Design & Drafting

  • Prepare HVAC designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Perform heat load calculations and equipment sizing based on ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  • Select appropriate equipment (chillers, AHUs, VRF systems, ducts, diffusers, pumps, etc.).

Estimation & Costing

  • Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
  • Estimate project costs including equipment, materials, labor, and subcontracting.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotations and technical compliance.

Technical Documentation

  • Develop design reports, technical proposals, and tender documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Maintain records of design revisions and estimation updates.

Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
