HVAC Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HVAC Site Engineer to oversee the execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation activities, including ducting, piping, insulation, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation systems, and chillers.
• Study approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required at the site.
• Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Coordinate Testing, Adjusting, Balancing (TAB), testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare material requisitions and verify delivered materials.
• Ensure project completion within the approved timeline and budget.
• Attend site meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with the design and procurement teams for technical support and material availability.
• Prepare as-built drawings and hand over project documents after completion.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in HVAC project execution.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and insulation.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and HVAC layouts.
• Familiarity with Testing & Commissioning procedures.
• Knowledge of ISHRAE, SMACNA, ASHRAE, and relevant HVAC standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
