Job Description

  • We are looking for a Production Planning Engineer who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring manufacturing activities to ensure machines are completed as per the planned schedule, quality requirements, and customer delivery commitments.Candidates having experience in machine manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, sheet-metal machinery, or industrial equipment manufacturing will be preferred.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Assembly teams.
  • Prepare and monitor BOM, material requirements, and production schedules.
  • Check availability of raw materials, bought-out components, and machine parts before production.
  • Track production progress and identify delays, bottlenecks, and shortages.
  • Follow up with the Purchase and Stores departments for timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor machine-wise production status from fabrication to assembly and final dispatch.
  • Prepare production planning reports and maintain production-related records.
  • Ensure production activities are completed within the planned time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for inspection and rectification of production issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to production planning and work orders.
  • Support management in improving production efficiency and reducing production lead time.
  • Prepare MIS / daily production reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and service teams for machine completion and delivery planning.
