Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced QA Executive with professional experience in testing websites, web applications, and mobile apps. The candidate must have a strong understanding of functional and UI/UX testing, with hands-on experience in platforms such as WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and mobile apps (iOS/Android). The role demands excellent attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a structured, process‑oriented approach to testing.

Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution

• Prepare and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements and user stories.

• Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, cross‑browser, and cross‑device testing for web and mobile platforms.

• Conduct sanity and smoke testing before deployments to ensure core functionality is stable.
• 
  

Bug Reporting & Validation

• Report bugs and issues using QA tools such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp, including clear steps, screenshots, and environment details.
• 
  
• Verify fixes in follow‑up testing cycles and ensure defects are properly closed.
• 
  
• Maintain a structured approach to re‑testing, regression suites, and release sign‑off.
• 
  

Website & eCommerce Testing

• Test websites built on WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and custom frameworks, validating both frontend and backend behavior.
• 
  
• Validate responsive layouts, mobile browser compatibility, and device‑specific behavior for all major devices and browsers.
• 
  
• Test core flows such as navigation, forms, checkout, user accounts, and multi‑step processes.
• 
  

Mobile App Testing

• Conduct Android and iOS app testing using real devices as well and emulators/simulators.
• 
  
• Test application installation, login flows, in‑app navigation, push notifications, and background processes.
• 
  
• Verify API responses, offline behavior, crash reporting, and performance across different network conditions.
• 
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to improve quality and user experience.
• 
  
• Document test plans, test execution logs, QA sign‑off reports, and release summaries.
• 
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and align testing activities with sprint timelines and release goals.
• Required Skills & Qualifications3–4 years of professional QA experience in testing websites, web applications, and mobile apps.

• Strong proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and QA documentation.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.

• Hands‑on experience in cross‑browser and responsive testing across desktop and mobile browsers.

• Strong understanding of browser developer tools (Inspect Element, Console, Network tab, etc.).
• 
  
• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum workflows and involvement in sprint‑based QA cycles.

Platform & Tool FamiliarityWordPress

• Understanding of the admin dashboard and plugin/theme‑based structure.

• Ability to test custom forms, shortcodes, page builders, and WooCommerce checkout/user flows.

Magento

• Familiarity with core eCommerce flows such as product catalog, layered navigation, cart, checkout, and user accounts.

• Basic understanding of the Magento admin panel for testing configuration and data‑driven scenarios.
• 
  

Shopify

• Experience testing product pages, carts, checkout, orders, and Shopify apps.
• 
  
• Awareness of Liquid template basics and how theme changes affect UI and functionality.
• 
  

Mobile App Testing

• Experience testing Android and iOS apps (real devices or emulators).
• 
  
• Familiarity with app installation, login flows, API response checks, crash logs, and basic performance checks.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience with BrowserStack, Postman, or similar tools for cross‑browser, API, and performance testing.

• Basic awareness of Google Lighthouse or other performance‑testing tools for web quality checks.
